After the tour, we invite you to enjoy a well-deserved break at Marsktures Motel at Nørrevej 32 in Højer. Here you will be served delicious Tapas, as well as coffee, tea or cocoa, so you can continue your evening in a pleasant environment and perhaps share your impressions with the other participants.
Experience the magical Black Sun with our guided tour, where you will have a unique opportunity to watch thousands of starlings dance their enchanting ballet in the sky. The starlings gather in large flocks around sunset time, creating a spectacular sight that few other natural phenomena can match. Our experienced guides know the best places to observe the Black Sun and will share their knowledge of the fascinating behaviour of starlings, the birds of prey that may be nearby and the beautiful marshland landscape where it all plays out.
We have a very high success rate when it comes to finding and experiencing Black Sun, but nature is unpredictable, so we cannot guarantee sight. However, the chance is almost always there to get this unique nature experience.
